Halloween is fast approaching. I've been wondering what we were going to do for Halloween. Are we going to go trick or treating in our 'hood? Should I throw a party? No, because Fletcher's b-day party is the day after Halloween. In the beginning of the week, I was thinking we wouldn't have anything to do and since Monday, we've been invited to 4 Halloween parties on Halloween night. One of which is a wedding reception. For a lebsian couple. Who I can't even remember meeting. What kind of a person am I who doesn't remember meeting a couple that found it in their hearts to invite us to their WEDDING reception? I'm going to pull the mommy card on that one and blame it on baby brain.
Despite my hangover from last night (see post below), I AM going to get Fletcher invites designed TODAY and mailed out by tomorrow. I am going to do this. Despite the fact that we have a party to go this evening - I will get these things mailed out by tomorrow. Despite the fact that I haven't even finished the guest list and need to cut like 20 people from it - I WILL get these done.
I've been telling myself this for the past 3 weeks and Fletcher's 2nd b-day party keeps getting pushed back.
This party WILL happen.
